Vikalp Multimedia is a Non Profit company based in Chennai with branches in Jharkhand state. The people behind this have experience of 25 years in rural developement and those associated with the IT sector.This initiative is lunched to bridge the digital divide that exists between the urban and rural regions. Also it is believed that at the present age IT is required to tap all the potentials of the ICT for poverty alleviation. VMM was created to serve as a platform for finding media and rural technology and solutions to the needs of rural population.
